PHENOMENA
Phenomena is a photographic odyssey into landscapes sculpted over eons by the tumultuous forces of nature — settings that, despite their beauty, merely frame the fleeting human experience. Through this series, the superficial beauty of nature transcends its role as a backdrop, becoming a reflective mirror that invites us to peer into the depths of our own consciousness. As the picturesque facade of rural Italy slowly dissolves, this mirror sharpens into a magnifying lens, drawing into focus the subtle contours of my inner reality.
What began as a journey through the timeless hills of Tuscany transformed into a deeply personal exploration — a testament to the most intense and intimate act of self-reflection I have ever encountered.
Created during two residencies at the Tuscan House of Photography in 2022 and 2023, Phenomena stands as both a visual meditation on the landscape and a poetic chronicle of an inward journey.
